Time Flies by

They both look exactly the same. They both lick themselves. Both of them like the same kind of plants and food but are still so different.

Both of them have different spots to relax. Kittu is like that one friend who doesn't like to shake hands or hug, on the other hand bittu doesn't really budge when is touched, held or patted. He rather enjoys it and loves to relax on my belly. Kittu is slightly older than Bittu.

They usually stay in the balcony. Whenever I come across cute pictures of animals on instagram, I am instantly reminded of Kittu and Bittu lying down in their respective places, relaxing and giving a complete vibe of a sunny and lazy day. I open the door of the balcony and those feelings just sway away like some kind of black hole sucked them up. I suddenly look at the once spotless Veranda filled with rabbit poop. It is thoroughly cleaned every morning but within the next 2 hours it looks like it was never cleaned. But the veranda is no reason to not fall for their cuteness. Kittu is usually lying under the air conditioner while Bittu is having a wonderful nap behind the gulmohar plant. As soon as Kittu notices me his ears stand up as he becomes alert that I might try picking him up but to be honest I have really given that up because he just hates it. Instead, I prefer to either observe him or just caress him a little. While chuckling by Kittu's reaction, I head for the Gulmohar plant imagining a quiet and innocent Bittu, a complete opposite of his brother. I lean down to pick him up. I hug him to feel his soft fur. Its the most satisfying and divine feeling.

You must have noticed your parents using this phrase "Time flies by very quickly" while flipping through old photographs of yours. I never understood this phrase, until Kittu and Bittu entered my life. When we adopted them, they were One and a half months old. Back then they looked more like mice with less complicated personalities. Now they are around 6 and a half months and now when I think about it, it really feels like time flies by.
